Some body stop me!

i SWEAR my G.A.S. is cured after this! i wont even need talk bass anymore!

for the pictures: should i stack them sideways? to vertically align the mid drivers.... er something? :hyper:

I promise you that you will regret this purchase down the line. You STILL have to put food on the table for a nursing mother and child not to mention other necessities!

You are becoming a father - time to act like one!!!

Paul

I'm not the regretful type... plus i sold one of my bass cabs to purchase this one so it only gonna cost me 100 bucks to upgrade. i have a good job(so does she) and can afford to feed my family. when i stated i couldn't afford it before it was because i couldn't justify purchasing it without selling the other cab first and i was worried that someone else would get it before i had a chance to work out my budget. besides it's a PEAVEY! my kid can use it when he/she gets bigger. it will out last us all!

i do appreciate your concern though. your heart is in the right place

I have 3 Peavey Foundations, A Peavey Unity, two Peavey Patriots, and I built my daughter a Foundation/Dyna Bass hybrid. I must warn you you are starting something you may not be able to stop.(However, I have still spent a great deal less on them than my wife has spent on her hair in the same time period. At least its a cheap addiction.)

Bwaahahahhaahahaha....

MAN, this is great. Bun in the oven, Paul pleading for sanity, nobody having any of it...

The peanut gallery still whining about back pain... ER, you haul cabs one at a time, not in a big pile guys.

What isn't realized is the power necessary to light these suckers up. Speaker GAS ends, and amplifier GAS strokes up.

What do I know about it? I bought a pair of SVP-1600 power amps this week and another motorcycle last week... I'm single handedly propping up the US economy.

Wife still hanging in there like gum on my shoe. I'm really lost.

Without Paul going ballistic on me, I do have the perfect Peavey power system to light them babies up....

Your GF has a good job - at the moment! Shortly she'll be on maternity leave and may even decide not to go back preferring to stay home and look after the baby.

In this current economy jobs are fleeting. Companies are here today and gone tomorrow. None of us know what tomorrow will bring so one has to be prepared for any eventuality.

"Shoulda, coulda, wouldas" are always there when it's too late.

written just like what I can only assume... an experienced father.

I know when my lady and I had our cub I can stand witness to "losing" gear" to cover some unexpected additional cost... that's with an awesome job/insurance... you never know what's going to happen during the delivery...ugh!!!

yeah I could have kept the gear but we would have been tight.

I've played through a number of those Peavey cabinets. Seems that most of the rehearsal rooms in my area have a peavey bass cabinet of one sort or another. I disliked the cabinet intensely. I found more life out of the cabinet by just plugging into the 18s alone.

Testify!

/had the same basic reaction to them. Why anybody would want TWO, that's beyond me. But hey, to each their own, and at least they're not taking up valuable landfill space needed for poopy diapers.

Hatching the runt, and feeding them is "Child's Play" unless they come out defective....

The rest of it is easy until they start to consume a couple 16oz steaks a week and need designer clothes and new shoes every 2 months. For some reason my wife kept falling for that one. In two months mine heads off to college... Talk about writing the check.

This one is determined to be a doctor, told him we'll get him through the undergrad, but he's on his own past that.

The problem is these women think they need to keep popping spares. They somehow feel less of a woman if they don't have a whole litter around. BS, don't fall for it. The more they make most often the worse they look. But I do know a few strippers who look pretty good with 4 kids, all with different fathers BTW. Been trying to figure out how to get in on that deal with a couple of them....

We were able to limit this one to one kid, you don't need spares unless you are rough on the first one and kill it. We learned quick where the limits were. Blood and bruises are pretty good indicators. As long as they are still crying you are OK, its when they stop that it gets dicey.

Best baby sitter in tough times like these, duct tape and a closet... Eventually they get big enough to free themselves and then you are screwed. Keep guns and big knives locked up. They might use them on you when you least expect it. Like on Sunday afternoon while you are dozing on the living room couch and the wife is at the mall spending your money... The kid figures out how to remove the trigger lock on your Smith and Wesson and BWAMO... Retribution...

Best free the broad now and get in a good band. There's more chicks out there. You did your part and propagated the species, now either devour your young or hit the street like you are supposed to.

All that other stuff was a plan developed by some cave woman before time and we just hang around due to habit, not recommended. Years of frustration intermixed with minutes of joy and pride only to be squashed by bitching from the wife to mow the lawn.

Ah, now you'll hear about how great it all is... Don't fall for it for a second, its all the misery loves company BS, it takes at least 25 years to undo the brainwash job and figure it all out. That's what divorce is for. Save yourself now!
