Some ideas for using an empty rack space?

something whimsical -- like a blank panel drilled to let the bulbs from a string of blinking Xmas lights protrude through.

is there really any point in putting in one of those metal plates with holes to cover up an empty space in a rack?

other then looking more snazzy, of course.

Also, I really dig that christmas lights idea...nice one

Another vote for a plate of cookies. Everyone knows that a good groove is mainly made up of sugar and fat!!!!!


And cookies leave plenty of room for airflow. If you have a tube amp it will keep them warm too!!!

okay, here is what i did. i have this old effect doojigger and a power conditioner, both have things that i need on them, so i stuck them in a 2 space rack and voila! as the people who we stole that word from say. i havent gotten the effect working yet, but its almost there.

Kustom Groove1200

Four space rack, all filled. I'm contemplating getting a six-space and dropping in a compressor, but that's probably not going to be a priority for me for a while.
