Something is off about this Reverb ad...

It's what happens when guitarists string basses. They're used to that nonsense from stringing Gibsons, so it looks normal to them...

I got a cheap bass in a trade and realized after I strung it that the two tuning keys on top were strung backwards. I have just been too lazy to fix it. I realized it when I went to tune it and every time I pick it up I realize I haven’t changed them yet.
I would shoot myself in the face. My OCE wouldn't allow it for one second.

Seems entirely appropriate for a Reverb listing. I’d think something was suspicious if there wasn’t at least one wonky aspect to it. This can range anywhere from a dirty sock laying over the upper horn, to a Hello Kitty sticker in the control cavity. Of course, no Reverb ad is complete without the $297 shipping.
