Long story short, I'm relatively new to playing bass and I finally got a decent amp. I'm going to be playing (just for fun) with my buddy who is a drummer. It will just be the two of us, and I was looking for some suggestions of something I could play that would sound decent with just drums and bass.
I really like James Jamerson's stuff if that's any help narrowing things down, but I'm open to anything.
