my band does With or Without You, and while from a note standpoint it is pretty easy, from an endurance standpoint it is a little challenging, whether I do it with pick, or fingers (and I've used both) it is actually a bit of a workout playing steady eighth notes for the whole song, it literally doesn't stop ever. No bridge, no half notes, quarters, etc... It actually is a good song for working on your finger or pick technique, because it teaches you to economize your motion and not play too hard.Don't know what type of music you like but here are a few that are considered easy bass songs
All the Small Things
A Hard Day's Night
Roxanne
Runnin' with the Devil
Smells like Teen Spirit
Sunshine of Your Love
Wild Thing
With or Without You.
