Back In The New York Groove was recorded by Ace Frehley as a solo record and not a Kiss record. The song was originally recorded by a British group called Hello in 1975 and written by Russ Ballard (songwriter extraordinaire and guitarist and singer with Argent and solo projects)

Beat me to it. I had that 45 growing up (that's VINYL, kids ;)). Didn't know Ballard wrote it, though. Very cool! Good info.

The Buchanan Brothers were actually a project of Terry Cashman, Gene Pistilli, and Tommy West, who wrote and produced many hit records for others as well as themselves under different names.
