Song Uno: From here to Eternity

Not off track. Wanna is a slang contraction of want to, so it was a valid play. It's too late now, but keep that in mind for future reference. :)

Night Moves - Bob Seger

Sorry, but I disagree. The object of the game is to use the words appearing in the previous title not slang contractions of words appearing in the previous title. While there has been some lee-way accepted in parsing words, using a completely different word, even though it has the same meaning, is heading too far afield from the original intention like some of the more creative parsings that have been attempted and not accepted. :)

Night - Springsteen

Hmm...not sure it's a good idea for one side of the discussion to be the judge. :eyebrow:

I wonder if you were here back when I used to be called Song Uno Police on this thread - possibly around the 9th or 10th edition (that'd be 2010 I believe); I used to call people out for using modified forms of words (esp. verbs and plural nouns) :p I'd personally say that, if one considers the first post on the first Song Uno thread to be the 'constitution', so to speak, point #1 clearly states that -

1. Using the previous song title, post another song title using one or more words from that title.

So you must use actual words from the title. I feel that, as a term, "wanna" has its own place as a more informal form of "want to" and the two are not the same.
