Not an attempt to be cheeky at all, just a demonstration of the example put forth by Richland123.

You can always wait until a play is made that's more agreeable to you. I certainly don't post a title every time I look in here.

As a 6 year 'veteran' ( :p ) of Song Uno, I suggest we abolish this current line of madness altogether and decide on a formal constitution with some sort of poll or something and start the thing afresh based off the first ever Song Uno post.

Forms of words - plurals, tense modifications should be hunky dory, but not extracting forced words out of other words when the source and extracted word are not mutual modifications.

i would only add at the end "unless the game is stuck for more than 3 hours" or something like that, because after all, it is a GAME!

Yes I agree there. I would add, though, that even without all this 'creative' stretching and twisting, we used to finish an entire 1000 post thread in 20 days when Rage1331 was here 3 years back, which is average of more than 2 every hour or so :meh:

I've never done that, until recently when I was schooled on the method of the recent madness. If one doesn't have a legit song in her/his head, she/he should wait till someone else posts. I see no point in forcefully posting songs with completely made up words.

The rules: Song Uno (a game)

Song Uno Rules:

1. Using the previous song title, post another song title using one or more words from that title.

2. Include the name of the artist or band.

3. If by chance 2 people post different titles at the same time, the earliest title continues the game.

5. No playing off your own title (only post one song at a time).

* Try to steer clear of using words like, THE, OF, IF, AND, etc. as the main word being played. Although they can be used as bonus words they shouldn't be used as the main word played.

* For clarity purposes, write the word being played in bold .

And try not to post the same song more then once, or at least not on the same page:)

This one rule was slightly modified along the way a few years back in that "A" and "Or" were included; however, "If" and "Of" were allowed as playable.

I found a copy of the revised rules as follows:

This was a revised list of the Song Uno rules. Notice there was no rule #4 on this list either.

From a previous Song Uno Thread, here is a version of the game "rules".

Song Uno Rules:
