I have been working on a ton of melodic stuff that uses modal playing and arpeggios, but I want to get more practice with good ol' solid 8th notes. I need to work on my evenness and endurance. Can you guys recommend some songs that will help this? I don't care what kind of music, I just wanna jam.

a lot of old U2 tunes are like this -- I always think of "With Or Without You" being kind of the poster boy for this style

I used to just play to a metronome while watching tv for hours to build up endurance. 1/8, 1/4, triplets, etc....
