I need to improve my ability to play octaves, so I've been playing the main riff to Bulls On Parade to a drum machine that speeds up over time. Great practice, but the riff gets boring after awhile. Any other songs you can think of that have an octave riff for the main part of the song? TIA

This isn't the main part of the song, but it's the first thing I thought of when you mentioned octave riffs.

Pretty much any song I play ends up riddled with octaves - it’s a huge part of what I do. My challenge is not learning to play octaves, my challenge is disciplining myself to not play octaves all the time.

Octaves fit in a lot of places - play along with just about any song, you’ll find plenty of places where a good octave riff will fit.
