I was just about to post on yours also. That board is AMAZING on that bass... beautiful! I don't know much about P's, but I hear lots of great things about the Lollar pickups. Love your neck bolt plate also!

Sonic Blue is one of those colors that IMO looks equally good with a RW or a maple board.

Thanks man ! Yeah I really fell in love with that board (Macassar Ebony ) when I first saw it on the Warmoth site . The Lollar is perfect , it's just what a good P pup should be , on the vintage side , warm , clear and tight . I bet you would love it .

How interesting. I didn't know if it was a Braz RW board or Morado or what. Macassar Ebony... beautiful. I bet that is a VERY articulate P Bass with that board. Love it!

It is indeed , it's my new # 1 the kinda bass you don't want to put down . I agree with you about the wood choice . Sonic blue looks nice so many different ways . Now back to your beauty , I think it may be my new forumite favorite ! The builder is a Genius and I'd buy him a beer if I had the chance for building that one . Straight up killer p and Sonic blue , Builder of the year award 2011 ? I think yes ! *love*

Carey's entire new 'classic' lineup (60's style alder/RW J's, 70's style ash maple Js, and the P), in 4 or 5 string versions, active with bypass or passive are all just amazing. Not cheap, but not stupid expensive either, given what you get.

Thanks!
