Sonic vs Daphne blue

Does anyone have any good comparison pics? On the fender.com color chart, the modern version of these look very similar to my eyes.

Colors vary all over the place depending on origin of the instrument, and age. I have a 2005 Sonic Blue CIJ Stratocaster and it looks like it is closer to Daphne Blue or even Surf Green.

However, from the instruments I have seen, Sonic is paler than Daphne; Daphne usually seems bluer and deeper in tone.

Try this one...it's possible you have slight color blindness.

Got it now, I think. Sonic blues seem to vary a bit more depend on age and what shade of sonic is used.

They are very close. I believe that originally, "daphne" blue was a bit lighter.
