The Germ is Booster/Fuzz made by Czech republic located boutique brand Soundelirium. I've got one in my pedalboard from spring and it's my favourite pedal. Now I had some time to record some sound samples, you can watch it in video below.
Originally I wanted to use it only as a clean booster/jump to saturate the tubes in my preamp, but I fell in love to the sound of its germanium overdrive.
All sound samples are recorded directly to Focusrite Scarlett 18i20, without any post production adjustments except of normalization of volume levels. Played on Fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass V (2008), alder body, pau ferro fretboard, brand new Dean Markley 2604A ML, nickelplated .45 roundwouds. EQ on bass set flat, both pickups enabled.
