Hi my name is Stefano,I'm italian
i' m another pro sound man & semipro bass player.
I have an audio & lights rent company from 1999...
I'm working in a little recording studio...
I'm foh, monitor & pa manager ,I' ve made more of 1000 concerts of experience :-)
I 'm 29 years old and when I was 14 I made my first concert back an old 24 tracks Lem inputs console! :p
Nowdays I live in Sardinia, an Italian island,
but I 'm thinking to move in South Florida because my wife's family lives in Miami.
How is the audio business in U.S.A. in this moment?
Is it in a good moment? Is it hard to find a good audio job?
Italy have serious problems for young people

I quote this:
+10000000 !!!!!!
When you mix bands, you see how important arrangements are.
Mixing changed a lot of things for me , overplaying-wise , tone wise , etc....
Makes you a better musician, and playing makes you a better soundman.

Also have knowledges and experience of audio business is very helpfull for create your personal sound :bassist: and it's very good for you musician career.

Thank you very much!
bye

Stefano

Also have knowledges and experience of audio business is very helpfull for create your personal sound :bassist: and it's very good for you musician career.

The knowledge of the audio buisness made me quit playing for a while...after a couple of bad experience playing with F***** bands. Playing with people who wanted to be famous more than doin music.

Before being sound tech I had a big kit and a big rack full of fun stuff , now it's a bass , a preamp , an RCF or IE , that's it. Total weight 80lbs.

Is it age , laziness , experience ?????
