Souping Up PC Sound

I have an ancient (90's era) set of bookshelf speakers and subwoofer box by the long defunct Cambridge Soundworks. For their day, these were excellent speakers, and still work fine. They are unpowered, set up so both channels go to the subwoofer first, with outs to the bookshelf speakers. The speaker connections are the old-school spring loaded crimp type using speaker wire. I've seen a few small amps available on amazon made for the purpose, using the headphone out from my PC. What do I need to know about the old speakers to select the right mini-amp? I don;t need or want crushing volume, just decent quality sound I can play along with at bedroom volume. This one has separate outs for a subwoofer and two speakers, might fit the bill. Most of the other ones I've seen just have outs for two speakers.

This one by Lepai shows up in a few YT videos as being decent quality, but also only has two speaker outs.

Suggestions or advice appreciated. I think the speakers are 4 ohm, but will confirm.

Just found a set of these speakers and subwoofer for sale on Ebay. The speakers are 8 ohm. As I recalled, the setup is left and right speaker in, which powers the subwoofwer, and two outs to the bookshelf speakers, So maybe I don't need a separate subwoofer out?
