Source Audio 2015 NAMM preview

Clean blend with volume adjustments would be a much more complicated (and expensive) circuit.

Yes, but it would allow my non-SA octaver have a lot more hub/scene features. Pure sub/mixed sub would be possible without changing the pedal settings.

I need to stress that there are hundreds of ways to approach the problems we are trying to solve. Occasionally, we do something that seems all wrong. [it might be] a clear choice on our part to do things in 2 steps and not one step.

Completely understand that.

I absolutely would understand why people want the product you're describing; I've just always thought it was clear that this would not be that product. And the product you're asking for isn't just a tweak or a mod to the product they made, it's something completely different.

Looks pretty cool! The first post was a downer for me, not having an iAnything. Happy to read on the Source Audio blog that Android will also have an app, as well as Mac and PC software. That, interesting new tech, and the loop switcher letting us incorporate our currently owned old favorite pedals. Very nice.

So listen you guys are going to have stuff you don't want to ship back on Saturday and I'm going to buy it. OK. This is me telling you this. :) I mean at NAMM. LOL :)
Not Saturday. Sorry! Sunday, very late in the day. I am not sure if we can sell any of the new stuff. It is not quite ready for that yet.

@rsmith601 , I believe the Delay will have a very distinct set of features than the Dimension, will ir perhaps have a looper hidden somewhere in the advanced parameters? If not, take this as a suggestion.

Another one (I don't know if it's possible with current chips) is the possibility to have, at least, two delays running at one time. It can be the same algorithm only with different time and feedbacks

The delay will be very different from the reverb.

In our view there are delay pedals and there are loopers. A good looper interface needs to look completely different from a good delay interface and vice versa. We are creating a delay pedal, not a looper.

There are at least 4 taps on the delay line. Maybe 5. Need to ask Bob. Really powerful and flexible. Note that it is stereo.

Bravo, sir. I realize you can shove a barebones looper into another pedal, but I don't think that's the Source Audio way.

@rsmith601 How soon after NAMM will the new additions to the SA line be available for purchase?
Reflex first. 6 weeks? Loop switch - 8 weeks? Solemate - 8 weeks. One Series - 12 weeks. Delay - 4 months.
Best estimate at the moment. All of it is working, it is just a matter of making lots of them work!
