Source Audio Bass Envelope Filter PRO (pics and clips)

As posted in the SA Club:

Gentlemen,

All of the demos, clips, etc. for the BEF Pro have been in production and I thought I'd give you all a preview of what we're cooking up.

[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

It's designed to showcase all the different sound possibilities of the BEF Pro. The link should take you to a blog that breaks down how each portion was done, such as the dubstep bridge.

If you guys like the tune, it's downloadable from the Soundcloud player!

Oh, so y'all ain't even tryin' to play fair! :D And you don't even have the decency to put a high price tag on it. You jus' gon' MAKE us buy it!

Two questions: Is there any update on shipping dates and where will they be shipped to first?!?!?!? I WANT ONE NOW!!!

We got the first units yesterday. They look perfect. First big production shipment will be on our dock in 4-5 weeks from now. I suspect that all our key US on line folks will have it within a few days on their site.

Can this version come with true bypass please???? The awful hiss I get with the wireless HH receiver os plugged in to my BEF kills HH use for me:(

This is sad, because the HH is so fun and would be great to use on a stage.

Ahh. I think we can fix this for you. Having built many pedal boards with lots of SA pedals and Hot Hand, I have see this too at times.

The Wireless Hot Hand Receiver drags on the power supply quite a bit and sometimes this inserts noise into the system. The PRO series has extra protection in this regard, so you should be OK. In the mean time, I am happy to send you a Source Audio power supply. This typically get rid of this noise with the BEF. Send me a PM and I will hook you up.

By the way, this is an example of where True Bypass does not really solve the problem. You want to get rid of the noise when the effect is engaged too! I think we can work this out with no problem.

Sooo....this should be available commercially within the next week or two...? This is my next purchase. I can't wait to fiddle with this damn thing.

We have been saying mid to late July and that is still good. Our pilot production run was perfect, so our confidence is high. Nailing it down to the exact week is difficult.

This means that you bargain shoppers looking for a BEF (non pro) and wanted a good deal should keep your eyes on the For Sale section. A whole mess of SA owners are about to upgrade. ;)

I just bought a new car last saturday and withheld $225 from the down payment so I can have this thing ASAP- august 12 were playing a festival and have a late night spot - really going to need some time to master the tap/midi/sequencer so the kids can haz their dubstep.
