Source Audio C4, neuro desktop, and Midi Baby 3 simultaneously?

I've done my best to find the info I'm looking for, but I reached my wits' end when I got caught in a ouroboros (snake eating its own tail), and saw my own post come back at me in a google search. Sorry to start a new post when there's already a wealth of info on this site, but I just can't find an answer anywhere.

Is there a way that I can simultaneously have my C4 hooked up to both the midi baby 3 for switching presets, AND the computer in order to run the neuro desktop app? I find both of these capabilities as important. I know I can't use a USB hub with the midi baby. (I tried anyway, in case I had a magic one).

I'm handy enough to wire up a 4 pole switch to effectively switch the C4's USB input between the midi baby and the computer, but the midi baby gets upset (colic I suppose), when I physically unplug it and plug it back in again.

I realize midi implementation is the wild west, and I can't imagine two companies more customer-focused than Source Audio and Disaster Area, but I've just about given up. Am I literally asking too much? Feel free to be blunt. Thanks everyone.

Can you use the external splitter cable input to handle the MIDI signal to/from the Disaster Area, leaving the USB free for the app? I'm no expert, haven't set up my C4 for MIDI yet but hope to.

Sorry, not sure what you mean by "external splitter cable input to handle the MIDI signal to/from the Disaster Area". The C4 has its control input TRRS 1/8" jack which I use for expression pedals, the neuro input on the ring of input 2, which is not compatible with the midi baby, and of course the USB input which can handle either a computer, or a USB host device. Please continue with any insights. Thanks.

Oops I must be thinking of the wrong box sorry that's the beat buddy with the cable. I thought the C4 had one too, must be mistaken.

I may have chosen my words poorly, but I have no neuro hub. It may be time. I'm trying to find a place on the board for the Ultra Wave, but oddly the After Shock is still winning. (Still love the dirt sounds way more). The Ultra Wave is for more controllable via midi of course. I hear the After Shock prefers to be on channel 1. In your experience, are there issues with the C4 on something other than channel 1? Thanks for your help, and your great presets.

I'm using the control input on the C4 for 2 expression pedals. I understand that the DMC micro series can use source audio's protocol on the "Midi out" of their multi-purpose jack. Technically no longer 'midi' out, but that can then be routed to input 2's neuro input (the ring on that jack). Impressive, but only an option with the DMC micro series, and not the midi babies. I'm an unabashed gear pig, but I'm also doing my best to keep it simple. Thanks for the response.
