Source Audio EQ2

Mine just arrived. Waiting for the neighbors to leave before giving it a workout. Oh wait. Quarantine. Meh. Headphones will have to do.

That it has a High Pass Filter is what tipped me over the edge. But not now. It is my list of pedals to get. The limiter and boost are huge selling points, too. When things get a bit loud and I can't hear the bass as clearly as I like, I don't like to turn up my volume on my bass, as it distorts in a way I don't like, so a clean boost is most welcome.

Can someone who gets one report back on if the parametric EQ can be used to approximate a low-pass filter? Currently using a Broughton filter to carve the fizz out of my DI signal when I use distortion, and if the EQ2 can perform that function then the Neuro control (I just picked up a Hub) makes it a no-brainer.

TBH there's a good chance I pick one up even if it can't do this.

The lowest and the highest frequency band can be clicked in the Neuro interface to make them HPF and LPF. There's also an independent HPF that's clickable with an adjustable frequency range. Each of the EQ bands have adjustable frequency centers and Q (width). Stereo or dual channels...and 128 patch over midi. Add the volume over expression and selectable frequency Q over expression (a massively customizable wah / filter) and the sweet tuner....this is easily the most versatile EQ pedal ever built. I can't wait for uk shipments!

Does this mean the HPF and LPF have adjustable slopes?
