all my firmwares are up to date and midi chanel is set... and this is my process...

1. select a midi program (PC) with my mudi controller (boss es8)
2. load a preset into the aftershock with the app
3. hold the save scene button on the hub
4. select a different PC
5 re select the PC that i saved the scene

no dice

what am i doing wrong?

Maybe try burning the preset to the device first? I haven't used the phone app much (I assume that's what you're working with), but I understand that you actually have to send the settings from the phone app to the pedal before they take affect. The hub is indeed compatible with the One series. I use the Hub with a Soleman and a few One series pedals, and it works fantastically. I personally use the hub software to create and save my scenes, but if I need to make a quick tweak, I can just make the necessary adjustments on the pedal(s) and hold the save scene button on the hub, and it saves the adjustment to the current program. Works great.

I think the MIDI channel might be mismatched. Sometimes ch. 1 for Hub is ch. 0 for Boss. (and ch 2 for Hub is ch 1 for Boss). I would try this. YES!!! Aftershock works great with the Hub. Many people here do this.

Other users? Any other suggestions? Have you seen this before?

Almost forgot. Did you hit the "scan" button on the Hub after powering up? Important. This is how the Hub knows Aftershock is out there.
Also, the red light should be on when connected to the Hub.
I think you need to press the control button until it turns on? That part I am not sure of. Sorry, I am setting up at NAMM and the real experts are in the air flying here at the moment!

MIDI channels are often listed as 1-16 but in reality the data being sent is 0-15. I think in the Hub Manager the channels are listed as 1-16 but in "reality" they are 0-15, that's the source of any mismatch.

In case it helps anyone, I spent a good amount of time yesterday evening trying to program an autowah sound with the Manta and the Boss ES8's virtual expression pedal feature. After being stuck for a while, I switched the SA Hub to MIDI Channel 1 (from 2) and it worked. So all you MIDI controller people out there, keep your SA Hub on Channel #1!

@rsmith601 I know you and @nathannavarro are busy with NAMM but I hadn't heard from him on this since last week. It's a small feature request but if that can't be accommodated then at a minimum I would be curious to understand why there seem to be two MIDI commands that do the exact same thing...or is the manual just wrong?

I'm about to join you guys with my first SA pedal - Nemesis. Should arrive sometime next week. I haven't swapped out my delay pedal in almost 5 years now (been using TC Nova Repeater) but Nemesis just looked and sounded way too killer for me to resist.

Looking forward to using those 8 presets as well, I already have a few tones in my mind.
I do have some questions:

Say you select one of your presets, can you then change the tone with the onboard controls (you know, mix, repeats, rate, tap tempo etc)? Or are presets strictly set how you save them, and then no changes can be made on the fly?

Similar question for using the Neuro app. Once you create tones, you adjust the sliders. Do those sliders that correspond to the pedal's knobs correspond to knobs' position? Say if slider for mix is in the middle, would that be the same as having the knob in the middle? Or does it matter where your knobs are during creation of presets? And then again, can you change stuff on the fly while using presets (without the app)?

Yea I know I don't have the pedal just yet, so I guess I should wait and try stuff out, then ask questions :D

You can definitely change presets on the fly by moving the physical knobs. When you use the neuro app, the changes you make to the slider do not correspond to wherever the physical knob position is.

Been trying to find the right all-in-one modulation and after considering several $$$ pedals, I realized the Lunar/Mercury/Gemini shared presets is the way to go.

I see that this question has been asked a couple of times but wanted to make sure there haven’t been any changes in the app or desktop editor. Am I stuck with the controll knobs per each box or are they now assignable like the Aftershock?

Firmware updates need to be done through the Neuro Desktop Editor. I suggest waiting another week or so, until we have the next version of the updater released. You can enable extended preset mode using the Neuro Mobile app on your current firmware version.

There have been no changes yet, they are still what you see is what you get for knob controls.

Yup, found that out, thanks :) Just got the pedal yesterday (I love it!) and my firmware was 1.17 so I tried updating it through the Neuro desktop app and it would tell me that it's already up to date. So I tried manually selecting the 1.18 saxf file and it would tell me the file isn't valid. So I found the file that someone posted on The Gear Page forums and that worked, seems that some people also had problems updating the firmware. I take it there are some kinks to work out with the whole firmware update thing.
