Here’s my current setup. I used it at church on Sunday through IR’s, to great success. Just tried it through my live rig, with equally stunning tone. Great combination of options.

Should have definitely came with one in the box. If you still would like a power supply to contact our UK distributor at this email [email protected]

Otherwise, any isolated PSU that's 9VDC center negative and can provide at least 150mA or 200mA if you intend on using the headphone out.

Do the positives of the pedal outweigh that issue? I have a ZIO on order with my local shop and it's been taking so long I've started to consider cancelling it. Everything I've heard and read about the pedal makes it sound right up my alley, but ultimately it would be a nice-to-have not a need-to-have.

Any other quirks of real life use that are noteworthy?

Yes it's a definite keeper for me. I don't consider that a quirk. Plenty of other pedals have trim pots for certain controls and this one is external so easily accessible. I'd prefer a knob I can adjust with my fingers because I use my zio with different basses and different pedal upstream from it, which can change the input signal strength. Also-the sound/tone of the grit control is excellent/very musical and very adjustable from minimal warmth all the way through face melt ;)

It would be nice to have that control. I wonder if there’s a way to put a side knob on it?

So an update on my situation. The loud pop continues. Changing where in the signal chain doesn't matter. Changing power supply doesn't matter. Turning down the output when flipping a switch doesn't matter. Last SA advised was to work the switches at the end of a session to unload power off the switch...if that doesn't work then send it back. Yeah, I really like the pedal but I'm done trying fixes that don't matter. I really like the pedal but limiting use of switches when live is a bummer. Still, like the tones though.

Are there distributors in the supply chain b/t you and local shops? I've reached out to them a couple of times, but never got a definitive timeline or answer as to what the delay is. I'll try again today noting that I got an update on availability straight from the source. . .audio.

I just checked SWEETWATER and they have new stock and demo (-$25) right now...
