Source Audio Zio Bass Preamp

So the pop disappears when I remove the compressor pedal from the signal chain (or, more accurately, from in front of the ZIO). Sounds totally fine without the compressor in front of it. I probably should have figured that out in advance...senior moment again. ZIO remains always on, always.

Thanks to Dave at SA for the nudge in the right direction.

So this unit has issues with actives basses or compressors in front? The compression is not huge because I run my compressors last but i do use active basses.

I have no issues with a comp in front or even when I engage my onboard preamps...perhaps it's a question of how hot the input signal is....maybe BadMonk's comp output was cranked???

Comp was / is around mid level. Played last night for three hours, with comp after the ZIO, and no pops.

I got the SA power supply with the ZIO and have been using it, and no other.
