i'm looking for a di box to connect my p-bass (sp4 pick ups) to my interface (ur12 d-pre) for home recording purposes using a short wire XLR. The DCR of sp4 is 13 kohms. The question is which is the best option, passive or active di box. The active di box input is about 1 Mohm and specialy for a long wiring, maybe the correct is a good passive di box, any direct box recommendation?. thank you everybody, sorry for my english.
