Seeing the thread title get bumped gave me a momentary fit of swearing, thinking they'd moved the time up.

Definitely want to see this one!

Imagine this:
Astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley sitting in the capsule, prepping for liftoff.
Bob: Hey Doug, you ready to get this ship off the ground?
Doug: Sure am Bob. Seems odd we have to sit here a few more hours and make sure everything is OK when it clearly is.
Bob: I agree. We'll ask for forgiveness later.
Bob reaches over and pushes the 'GO!' button and they have liftoff a few hours early.

Launching on my B-day now.....sweet. Anyone else of a certain age thinking we should’ve seen the streamlined clean capsules and spacesuits about 30 years ago. That’s what the comics, books and movies led us to believe. Still exciting though!!

And... SpaceX lands their rockets just like we all learned they were supposed to from 1950's sci fi movies!

Wow, I know NASA has seen better days, but today's NASA Channel's pre-launch show was along the same lines as cable-access TV and my high school A/V team's work... good gracious.

I always seek out the SpaceX youtube page(s) for the same reason. They also have a feed with only the radio traffic.
