Fun with math regarding 124,000 mph (200,000 kph) Psyche max speed!

My youngest daughter lives 132 miles away (straight line). 124,000 mph (200,000 kph) equals 34.4 mps (55.4 kps). Crazy fast. It'd take me just under 4 seconds to be on her doorstep. Surprise! LOL

If anyone wants to meet up with me in Trafalgar Square, London, just let me know. From west coast of Florida, I can be there in a bit over 2 minutes.

The clouds broke apart enough to get in some nice, clear seeing in GA. Didn't bother hauling out the cameras & telescopes for 62% magnitude, but one of our nieces (who knows Mrs. Winslow & I are the "space & science" sources in the family) came over to watch it with us. It was a very nice way to spend a lovely October afternoon.

Cloudy and rainy here in Northern Virginia but I don't believe we were gonna see much of anything anyway. I did watch the NASA broadcast. It was cool, and you got to see the eclipse several times from different locations. Full annularity was really cool!!!

we had a great day. Spent about 3 hours on this mount trashmore hill overlooking Lakland AFB and played in the eclipse. Then found a brewery on the way back to Austin. Can’t wait for April. Won’t have to leave home for the totality.

I’m surprised that this wasn’t posted. The launch for SpaceX Starship has been approved for mid November. I think I read 11/13/23
