One would hope, but there's some law to be settled into just who pays for what. The details are covered in the articles, but hopefully someone will step up and do the right thing. It's far from automatic though.If by prize you mean a large cash settlement, I expect the answer is yes!
At the moment, the piece seems to still be in the hands of NASA. One would hope that any negotiated settlement would include its return to the guy whose house it perforated. It's not like it's hazardous or anything.That hunk of metal's got to be worth a penny for recycling, too.
