Well, now we know two things about Starship yesterday:
1) It dun blowed up reel gud!
2) The debris made for a vivid light show over the Caribbean.

Going into space is still hard. It won't be routine in our lifetime, no matter how much money the trillionaires throw at it.
I'll clarify: Just another day at the office for aerospace engineers and other people doing rocket science.
Everyone else is free to freak out at the bright lights along with the tourists losing their minds in the video clips from Caribbean.

Now that he is, we all have to be 110% diligent that we avoid bringing our political commentary in this thread due to the connection Mr. Musk has in SpaceX. It is going to be unavoidable that his name is going to come up around here, but please let's not veer off into politics and have this excellent thread shut down. I have learned so much from y'all over the years, it would be such a shame to silence all of our voices in regard to space exploration.
