About as smooth as being in a stopped car rear-ended by one going 16mph. Yeah, you'll feel it.I'm sure it was pretty jarring for the people actually in the capsule. But on TV that looked like such a gentle splashdown!

after a seawater bath I expect pretty close to air temp.Yeah, I wonder how hot the surface of the capsule is now, given it was engulfed in superheated plasma not long ago. The rigger must have some pretty good gloves.

Surprised at all the private boats in the area. And you get a good perspective of the size of it when it’s on the recovery boat.
Think about it though - the recovery vehicle is a "private boat".Yeah, that was a little disturbing. I guess the security in those waters is non existent.
