SPB-2 mid sound

Im thinking of getting one of these for my P bass, and want to know what type of mid sound it makes...

Is it a sort of cloudy 220hz sound, a sort of honky 500hz sound or a growly 800hz type of sound?

How does it compare to the standard sound apart from the frequency difference to an origional?

Looking at the site, is the QP the same mid eq except scooped???

I put a SPB-3 into my p-bass and it sounds great but it is very hot and slightly fatter tone than standard p-bass pickup. I have tried the SPB-2 it seems to be just slightly hotter than the stock pickup and gave a bit more lower mid punch to my sound. So if that's what you want then go ahead and try it.

spb-3 has a more modern punch BUT I blend it with the STK-J2b and it brightens tone and gives it a bigger tone spectrum. May work for you or may not...but thought to give you an idea for some very good tones...good luck
