Yeah. I didn't realise when I was reading the posts that these guys were referring to 1000 watt amps. I'm running a 100 watt head, and its fine.

Again................
If you are going to anguish this much over spending a couple of bucks on the PROPER cables, then keep doing what you are doing.
Maybe you will be lucky, or maybe your amp will suddenly die.
I don't have any money to buy a speaker cable. Some of us aren't rich snobs...

I was not talking to you, I actually respect you. I was talking to the guy I replied to.That's pretty offensive. I'm not rich, nor am I a snob, but I use the correct tool for the job, every time.
Hmm....I might try that. Sorry If I offended you, I've had a really crappy week, and I decided to be a jerk and make fun of some innocent TB'ers.Make your then............
All you need is some lamp cord, and a couple of 1/4 ends from some dead instrument cables.
Just make sure you solder the wires correctly. Tip from one end to the tip of the other, then the other wire connecting the sleeve (ground).

Ha, Good thing I'm using an old Vox I found in a ditch.Yeah, you were being so adamant about it that I was ready to encourage you to just go ahead with using an instrument cable.
Then you'd likely be shelling out for a new amp.
If you refuse to believe good advice, then suffer the consequences.
Then perhaps you should take those two fs out of your name.I've had a really crappy week, and I decided to be a jerk and make fun of some innocent TB'ers.
They're literally just wires in rubber sleeves with 1/4 in connectors on the ends. The internal wire might be a bit thicker on one, and the other might have a bit of shielding. Not much difference at all.
If only I could....Then perhaps you should take those two fs out of your name.

Make your own then............

I've had a really crappy week because I got tricked into eating a turd and my boyfriend cheated on me, and I decided to be a jerk and make fun of some innocent TB'ers. Sorry my life sucks guys
