Hi, I have two speaker cables laying around, can I use them to hook up my sans amp to the fx loop with out any harm? Thanks and sorry for this stupid question.

The rule is speaker cables for cabs, instrument cables for everything else!

Yes, you can use them without damaging your equipment. You may be susceptible to a little more noise due to lack of shielding, but otherwise, you'll be fine. Just NEVER use instrument cables for speakers.
