Speaker magnet touching metal an issue?

Have a situation where the magnet on a tweeter would be right up against a metal dish handle on that is installed on the side of the cabinet I'm working on. The only location to install this tweeter if at all. The magnet would be in direct contact with the metal handle.

This to me seems like a bad idea but I thought I'd float it out to the TB community for comments or perhaps off color humor.

It could cause a mechanical noise from vibration.
Will they be touching or just really close.

Could peen in an area on the handle dish for some extra clearance?

Some heavy gauge electrical tape on the metal part will help too.

Bonus for legit use of term “peen”. If the handle dish is aluminum I’m guessing to would break under peening. Can you get a shallower or spring-type handle?

Put a steel handle, now you have a magnetized handle to hold a metal pick box or whatever, call it a feature.

I had a speaker I wanted to work on once, and I couldn't find the needle nose pliers I was going to need, once I go in there. In fact, I hadn't seem them for a while, and couldn't figure out what had happened to them. Anyway, I decided I could probably use some other tools in their stead, so I opened the cabinet, and there....stuck to the back of the magnet of the woofer, was my pair of needle nose pliers. They'd been there for some number of gigs, and hadn't harmed anything, or caused any effects I could discern.

The big concern is if the thing will be close, but not touching (OK) in solid contact (also OK), or if it'll rattle.

If there's a mechanical vibration install a black rubber gasket under the handle to position it away. Else a dab of electrical grade silicone or apply liquid electrical tape (it’s polyvinyl- home depot) on the back of the handle. Not much is needed.

Take the handle off and install the tweeter. See how much space for the handle is needed to clear the tweeter.

I'm surprised no one has suggested yet trying to mill out a divot in the magnet to create the necessary clearance.
