Speaker up, I can't hear you

Hey, I am looking for 100 watt 8ohm 10" bass speakers with a reinforced cone. I just have my stocks, they sound allright, but I am afraid I'll blow them at higher volumes.

Anyone know of such a thing? The dude at the speaker store didn't know, but then again, he tried to sell me 2 350watt delta speakers for my 150 watt amp....doosh.

So, you are trying to replace the 2-10" speakers inside your combo? If so, are you sure they are 8 ohm? Do you use an external cab with this combo ever? Things to consider, if you replace 2-16 ohm speakers, with 2-8ohms, my guess you will fry your amp if you ever use an external cab. If you replace them with 2-8 ohm speakers, I would disconnect the ability to EVER run an external cab with it. My $.02 FWIW.

Due to my 3 year old son redesigning both my GK 210 speakers with a screwdriver I was forced to get new ones. I did in fact go for the 300 watt (eminence I think) replacements, I found them to be louder but as you can imagine a heck of a lot heavier. Roughly speaking the volume now with just the combo is comparable to the combo + extension.
