Excellent idea. I ended up ordering a Speaker Cabinet Port Tube 2-1/2" ID Adjustable and glued it in behind the existing port. I have it at about 7" length tuned to about 35 HzI rolled up a couple stiff pieces of a 8.5"x11" magazine cover into a tube 2" in diameter and inserted them into each port of the cabinet. Cut off the length by a 1/2" before it bottoms out at the rear of the cabinet. It cost virtually nothing. It increased the low frequency and volume on the low frequency noticeably. It is easily detected on any HZ sound meter free ap. Why waste money on expensive speakers? Try it for yourself and see what you think. It will cost you nothing, it's super easy and you may be very pleasantly surprised. View attachment 5026845
