SpeakOn Cable Options

I can't believe you graduated from Starfleet Academy without that information. How in the name of Mog do you ever expect to repair a warp core, or navigate the Neutral Zone?! Pfft.

:roflmao: Just messing with you... I have always wanted to know the skinny on SpeakON's too.
I was hoping that the falsely placed avatar
would be overlooked, I see that is not so, I'm a communications officer, please be merciful, I don't wish to be flogged.

BTW, I still dream of Jeannie too...
<sigh> Yeah... television ain't what it used to be. Barbara Eden was never on Star Trek, but her husband, Michael Ansara, played Kang the Klingon in a couple episodes. latest.jpeg

Jeannie was my mom's go-to babysitter back in 1973, and we've had a thing ever since. :p

Speakons were retired in 2037 when the government outlawed analog because it was deemed too energy inefficient. Mechanical speakers were banned for the same reasons in favor of cranial implants.

The Starfleet systems use Neutrino Plasmacons, sub-molecular plasma conduits and injectors. These are managed by nanites.

Enjoy your amps while you can.

What type of cranial implant is best for metal?

Hi, you could get something called the combobanger from usbargainsound and that solves a lot of these issues. It's basically 2 hybrid neutrik speakons connected to each other so you could use either speakon or 1/4 jacks at either end.
