so: tung oil goes bad? or just a "bad batch" per the friends?
The first batch I put on here didn't fully cure. It was still a little pliable to the touch, and turned the wood milky white
From what I read, it does have a shelf life, especially if the air is left in the bottle after initial opening
I took it to a couple cabinet making friends, and they said it was probably the Tung. One said he had seen it before.
So I think the initial bottle I got was bad from the start. I contacted the manufacturer and they said they haven't had any complaints with that lot.
So I just move forward

Man, a wanna play this one!
I strung it up yesterday, and just had a small opportunity to play it through an amp
The setup still need some tweaking, and I'll probably change the strings to Chromes, mostly because of the B string
I played it through my Ampeg PF800 with 4 10's
Maybe saying that it's thunderous is an understatement
