Since I last posted on this I have put countless coats of schellac on the body, and cut the neck profile.

Are those holes near the bridge for one of the Gibson 3 point bridges? I've never actually seen one up close, but I do really like the looks of Hipshot's aftermarket replacement for them.

I staged it with the black, and it's not quite right

I usually don't like using gold, but in this case, Y knot

Ok,

So I wet sanded the back to 1000. It's got a couple diples I won't try to get out.

Going to try a new product as my final coats. Royal Lac. I've heard good things so I thought I'd give it a try. You will be able to see the results

I'm also going to make a new neck for this. The one I made just did wierd things that I don'r feel like fixing.

I dont believe so, Robbie O'Brien has a vid on royal lac and I followed his method.
