No, that isn't my bass. that photo popped up here a few months ago and I saved it to my computer. I hope who ever that bass belongs to doesn't mind.

This is how the bass was packed. I have removed no packing material. Just thrown in the box, taped up and shipped. Amazing.[QUOTE/]

That lack of proper packing reminds me of Musicians Friend, the way that they packed my acoustic/elec. bass and damaged beyond repair. That's not great packing. I'm glad it arrived safely!
What guitar store did you buy it from? I see the date is 2 months after LimaGuys.

Offtopic, but related to that pic. I got a digital piano and stand from Sweetwater in today. Rather than shipping those and the soft keyboard case all separately, they put it all in one box, and had plenty of packing material to keep it from shifting around. They even threw in a few pieces of Christmas candy in the box....I was impressed, and hungry.

Awesome! Now that's customer service! I won't buy instruments from MF after my ordeal let alone seeing that they're STILL packing like that! :scowl: That's good to know about Sweetwater!

Sweetwater is awesome to deal with. They always throw candy in with there orders..... I love it! When I was a music director I only bought stuff from them and a local music shop.

Sweetwater has great customer service. If it weren't for "stupid deal of the day" I would not have any use for musiciansfriend.

Here's photos of a gorgeous acoustic bass that was poorly packed by MF. You can't see the badly damaged areas from these pics, neck cracked on both sides, but end large crack and headstock smashed on top. Enough to make a grown man cry I tell ya!:scowl:

That's the only strap lock that I'll use! I've used schallers, didn't really care for them.

I use the Dunlop Dual Designs as well on my Euros. Only thing I didn't like was the supplied screws went in pretty tightly - I was worried about damaging the bass.
