Ah, what the heck. People seemed to be getting annoyed with others posting pictures of their basses in each thread so I haven't posted mine it a bit. It's about time I did it again.

My Spector goal this year will be a Euro 5LX... Maybe if I sell my F*****r, which I never play anymore anyway. And maybe get a job or something like that.

I have seen and played that Euro 5LX. That color is amazing in person.
Looking at the Spector website it doesn't show a gloss blue finish as an available option as an option for the Euro, only Blue/Black Burst and a matte Blue Stain... Is that color not available anymore?

Hey guys, lately I'm finding the preamp in my Euro 5LX to be a little dirty for my needs. It's a non trimpot tonepump. A while back I was thinking about just buying a newer tonepump and throwing it in, but should I maybe try lowering the pickups on my bass? Would that help with the overdriving preamp considering there is no way to adjust the output of the older TP's.
Also, does anyone have a good helpful guide on setting up Spectors? I've never set my own bass up before, so I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing, but I wasn't very happy with the job the local tech did on my bass so I'd prefer to try it myself.
