I really need to get some better pics of her. Until then, I'll repost this ...

1st Gen. Legend 4, Slate Grey.

I just posted this in the last thread...so I'm not trying to SPAM you guys. If you're looking for a Spector, you may be interested.

I am sad to say it but my local music store (where I just moved from) has closed it's doors and is having a liquidation sale.

This is the message posted on fb from the owner, Nick:

I thought this may interest some of you guys looking for new Spectors. The last time I was there he had a few of them. I don't think he has any Euro's or USA's unless something has changed in the last few months. I think he has 7 of them?

I remember him having the following:

Legend 4 Classic (Holoflash)
Legend 5 Classic (Natural)
Legend 5 Classic (Black Cherry Burst) B stock
Legend 5 Custom (Natural/Set Neck)

This is the store number:
1 318.548.8662

Website (not as up to date as it should be):
Edit: deleted by smperry
Not sure how often he's there but if you call the week of the 20th you'll get him for sure.

No affiliation with the sale and I get nothing out of what sales. Honestly just trying to help a friend through a tough time. :hmm:

My computer denied access to that link, thar's a trojan innit.

I need a members number boys as I rejoined the Spector owners today. I'd been lusting over the Euro5Lx here:

I bought the one from Bass Central today that resembles the black cherry matte one on that page. So Grasshopper emails me the receipt and turns out its that exact bass. Perfect serial number match. I'm hyped and guessing that Patrick at some point took pictures of my future bass for the Spector site. Awesome!!! I'll post my pics when it comes in.

Dang, the new thread would be started while I'm writing a piece for composition class.
One of these days I will be first dang-it!
... And with that here's a pic of my legend. I need to take some new ones soon.

So today was a new bass day for me. I purchased a Legend 6 and I have it tuned E to E as I will be using for melodic riffs and chords.

Actually at the moment its EADGGC, I got stupid and attempted to tune it to a high F before and I snaped the .028 string :rollno: :o I will order a few replacements from Jason tonight. ;)

Yes, I did go out and find the UPS driver at 11:AM :D :hiding:

I am very impressed with the overall quality of the the bass. The neck is really smooth and the fret work looks great. For the price range, this is a great bass,
but do we expect anything else from Spector. :bassist:

The only weak spot are the passive SSD PUPs since I am spoiled from active EMGs.

Congrats on the NBD Lima! I'm curious, is there any difference between the pickups in that Legend 6 that say "SSD INC" on the pickup cover and the the pickups in my Performer DLX 5 that have "EMG SSD" on the cover?

Well, she didn't come up with the character but she suggested the name :) He was from the Flintstones.....wow, i think i am showing my age here but his name was the great Gazoo.

The Great Gazoo - YouTube

Oh I know... And I remember the "A Rink Dink Dink Dink" sample in some of the dance songs back in the 1990's came from the Flintstones too... LOL.
No I remember the Great Gazoo... I just was amused that Sam's wife made that connection. :D

DUDE! I thought you'd peaked at 7 Spectors... then you were down to 3 and now back up to 6... LOL. And I'm sitting in a room with 5 basses and one guitar too... and soon to be 7 basses. I have the illness too my friend. There is NO cure... only MORE Spectors. LOL

But this is a good illness. :) :bassist:

Its also a great motivation to clear "old stuff" out of your garage. I have been selling old gear and other misc stuff non-stop.

I think I need work on trio of blue next, or white or natural? Help :help: :hiding:

Your original number is still valid. This like the Soprano's, once you're in this family there's only one way out.
