thanks ice! im thinkin bout goin with a different pre. not sure i like this one much.
im used to warwicks neck size, this spector bass is way way different (in a good way)
i hope i can figure out what i need to buy to get it where i want it to sound. i love the
way my wicks sound, they sound big/fat. this thing sounds skinny/malnurished! haha
hard to know, ya know

If you want big and fat you may like the Tone Pump. You can buy it for $99.00 from Spectors online store. A lot on here love the TP!

Yeah about that...I made one with "My Spector Story" but it came out distorted on the video. :( So I'm contemplating on buying an interface for my MacBook Pro laptop to record direct. Or wait for the iPad 3 to come out in March and download some recording media from IK Multimedia. They have a lot of software. I have an iRig to use with my iPhone/iPad to plug my bass into and I'm thinking I might be able to use that to record into my MacBook Pro. I downloaded some mixer/recording APP just yesterday on my iPhone. I'll give it a try!

To answer your questions LimaGuy, it had crown inlays and had what I'd describe as an "amberburst" gloss finish. Bolt on neck, EMGHZ soapbar pickups. There were no noticeable dings or scratches, but there was some "speckling" on the gloss finish when you looked up close.

You are welcome! Sounds like a very nice ReBop. Amberburst is one of my favorites for ReBops. You can rub out the speckling. With it being gloss finish you'll get a real nice tone out of her! My ReBop 5 DLX was natural oil finish. The one you are describing is a DLX model and should have the adjustable TonePump pre. A very great buy! Good luck and Cheers!

So I was going through some old pics and found these of my old 83 Brooklyn (hazlab, badass bridge, naturally relic'd). I sold it a while back to Todd Cooke, not sure if he still has it. Anyway, thought you'd enjoy these shots (they are from my metal tribute band, thus the wig and silly clothes). :p

This was my old SSD NS4CRFM. I really regret selling this bass. It was the best sounding Spector I've ever owned next to my US NS4. I wish I would have kept this and had it refin'd to the sunburst instead of this Euro 4LX. It quite honestly had endless growl. Plus, check out that flame! Unfortunately, I sold it on evilbay, so I doubt I'll ever see it again. I'd rebuy it in a heartbeat.
