probably a 5 or 6. I'm not a light player, and play with a pick in a band setting (usuallly) . I use lighter picks but that's really so I can dig in more to my liking and not play too hard or break strings. I dont try and saw the bass in half though lol , thats just ********.

I concur on the IH neck thickness. I'm glad that you backed it up with measurements. My new Forte 5 neck front to back thickness reminds me a lot of the IH's neck thickness. I'll have to take some measurements. I still can't get over the fact that you can have the G sting down to within .5mm at the 12th fret and not buzz or clack! Awesomeness!:bassist:

You should go. Great shop and a really awesome crew. When you're done, you'll be grateful you don't live just down the road (like me) and have to fight SAS/GAS all the time.

No kidding...I'd be selling my blood plasma every week...selling stuff to the pawn shop...and probably be walking because all my vehicles would be sold too! LOL :ninja:

US Wimbish and yours is basically the same neck...played them both for hours and couldn't find much if any difference except one had pau ferro and the other rosewood fretboard.

No... the Coda bolt on-necks DO NOT have carbon fiber supports. There's not enough room to hollow out the necks for the supports.

In the video I did, I assumed that they were, because honestly Stuart does put them in all of his basses... but I found out after the video was released that the answer is NO... not in the CODA.

So sorry for any conflicting information. The website is correct. No carbon fiber in the Coda necks.
