Latin:
Caeruleus - a deep ocean or sky blue. Also can be used to describe the blue-black of a deep bruise or wound.
Best translated into English as Cobalt Blue.
Somnium - Dream

My latest Spector USA bass order is the "Caeruleus Somnium"
I have a thing about naming my basses. "The Black Pearl" is a good example.
Anyway, I'll probably just call it "The Deep Blue Dream"
It will have the following specs:
USA NS-2 with J/J pickup configuration and USA 9v (Haz) circuit.
Doug Wimbish signature 1.5" nut and neck profile.
AAAAA Tube Quilt Maple (like the Black Pearl)
Cobalt Blue/Black Burst Gloss Finish
Chrome Spector USA Bridge and Chrome Tuners
Pau Ferro Fingerboard w/ Blue Abalone Crown Inlays
PJ hasn't given me an estimated finish date but I imagine it'll be late August or sometime in September.

JPS u need to check out the eBay listing for Spector euro nt clone . They have a far out description about the making of this bass .

Todd Cooke has the best photo examples of this rare NS-2 model configuration. He calls it an NS-2JJ. Which really makes sense to me. The NS-2J and NS-2JA are bolt on neck models, so NS-2JJ for the neck thru version works for me.

I love this bass!!! One day I hope to order an NS-2 with the Wimbish neck and 2 jazz pickups! ...just need to keep saving!!
Wife brought it to my work at the Fire Station, and OMG does this make my Rebop feel less of a bass. My Neighbors Are going to hate me tomorrow . I'll be plugging into my new streamliner 900 and letting it eat. It Looks like it came with 110s on her but dont have calipers here at work to check that out . The set up feels pretty good out of the box too. I'll take better photos tomorrow outside when I get off duty tomorrow. till then Cheers!!
P.S. I didn't know they came with black Schaller strap locks thats cool, Just had to cancel the order for those.

No worries, just got off the phone with Ebay (again), they were supposed to have removed this listing before now.
The seller cannot use "Spector®" or "Euro4" in their listing, that's copyright/trademark infringement.
So Stuart asked me to have that auction taken down... one of the things I do as an online consultant for Spector.
Too bad I sold both of them,haha...now I am waiting on a white Ian Hill Euro and a black NS2. Euro should be done in June and NS2 I think Sept...who knows, I can't count...haha
What month did you order the NS-2? I ordered my Forte 5 Nov. 19,2011 and received it Mar. 26th, 2012.
You might get it sooner than you think.

Congrats, As good as it feels, it will sound even better.
If you got it new, it should be Spector Nickel 45-105s on it.
