That's now the second NSCRFM in trans black I have seen in the same day. Never seen one before either. It's an early czeck model pre euro. Great bass!

Those Schaller bridges hae been around for a while.
I had one on my '87 Pedulla MVP.

Great bridge, as you can adjust the spacing and it adjusts up and down very smoothly.

Really great bridge. It was the upgrade from a badass back in the day. Doesn't get much love though. Pedulla and guild pilots had them stock. A few others too.

I put together a bass with that schaller bridge, it was so easily adjustable in all directions, it was nice not to have to worry about string spacing and all that, it had it all!

That does look like it, except mine has Schaller hardware. So, was the $200 I spent on her a good deal?

Yeah those roller saddles don't get burrs and break strings either. Custom string spacing is always nice!

It really is. It doesn't get better build quality wise. I might change the pre to a haz or a pump but that's it. Its got all the goodies already.

I've had it since '98 or so. It's been my 'wife' for years. A little beat up but love it!! It's a late '97 right when Stuart got his Spector name back. One of the first few based on the serial number.

I spoke with PJ and they only did the color for a little while because they thought it was too dark. Most of the time it looks black. Obviously the sunlight brings out the green. My favorite color til my new one shows up.
