I'm not sure what the answer is.
He says it only has 9 wires (I didn't notice because I didn't count them when removing it...and "no" I didnt cut one off at the box :p).
The diagrams show it (should be) having 10 wires. It's an older, non-trim version. Anybody have a clue?

I've switched several Tone Pumps now, and have noticed some don't even have the same colored wires as the diagrams.
Not even matching the alternate colors listed on a couple of them, so I don't know what's going on with the various versions.
I just simply matched the diagrams in the sequencial order they came out of the box (regardless of color) and everything works as it should.

Is there a thread on that? I have a non trim TP in my Euro I can compare
OOh ok, maybe Donny wants it.

funny..I'm saving up for another Euro 4LX.. lol

Sweet.. I'm seriously contemplating a hz copy for the NS95. Wish I could afford the real thing, but I can't. Anyone have some sound clips of the haz copy in action?

That or a pump would work well too.

You may have to go with the Tonepump if you have EMG HZs in your NS-95.

The Haz Copy MM114 works only with Active PUPs

You could use a Korean Haz that came in a NS-2A if you can find someone selling one.

Hmmm.... they are definitely HZs. I've thought about the Tonepump as well, was just wondering.

My guess is that would be a tall order. I'l probably go with the Tonepump then. I've heard samples and it has a great tone, but does it react the same way as the haz as far as playing dynamics are concerned?

Hey guys, just wanted to share some exciting news. I just purchased a Markbass Micromark 801- the new one - and this little amp is pretty amazing. I only play at home and never got to use any larger amps, so I've been using a variety of small/practice amps over the years. First thing I did was plug in each of my basses and I was blown away at the tones I got from each. Without a doubt, my Rebop was my favorite. For the first time, the tone pump could be used to dial in my tone and I could really hear this bass. I love it.

As a side note, I purchased a new American Deluxe Fender P at the same time I bought the Rebop. One I played em' all on the Micromark, the Fender has gone back in its case and I will be selling it. Just not my sound. Perhaps a neck through Spector is in my future. :-).

The Tonepump is similar. It will have more low end and high end.

Ray Scheuring "Dirty Ray" from the Bret Michaels band actually has EMG HZs with a Tonepump in his Forte 4X that was his custom setup. :bassist:

Okay family! After much thought...I don't need 2 Forte's...I'm a 5 string guy all the way...so my Forte 4(Lucy Lui) lost out and is now for sale! It was delivered to me in Jan. 2012 from Woodstock, NY directly from the Spector shop. A month later my Forte 5 arrived and the Forte 4 has stayed in its case ever since! I actually took it out of my house 3 times. All 3 times at a church. It's been smoke free! There's not a scratch to be found on it! There's a very light slight shiny spot above the P pup where my thumb rests once in a while. I'm offering our Spector Family members here a special low price of... I'll be putting it in the classified as well. I took some fresh pics this morning I'll post. $2000.00! Plus shipping, comes with Spector HSC!

I want to buy it just because it is nicknamed Lucy Liu! :hiding:

I had a mm114 in my NS2000 with Hz's. It'll work just not as hot or clear as with emg's . The pump is a beast also. And yea it reacts like the haz imo. And you can adjust the output level to taste. The haz is a bad ass though. It's more raw than the pump imo. Both are great.

I also bought one a week ago. It's amazing sounding little boy regarding its size. I absolutely love it. I also have Markbass head & cab but realized I can't use them at home 'cause they are too powerful and don't sound like they should at lower volume. And I bought MicroMark 801 and absolutely happy with what it can deliver. BTW, its predecessor Micromark with 6"speaker sounds much weaker. And this 801 can handle low B!

Awesome. I have its fraternal twin with the P/J. Love it set for BEAD.

On your other one there with the gloss finish, did you get that from Bass Central? They had (and I believe still have) a bass just like that listed for a special. I really wanted it but went with the matte black when they said it was gone. You got the best of both worlds there.

Yes, the glossy one is from BC, bought at special price a year ago.) And actually they listed the pictures of this very bass for quite a long time even after they shipped it to me! (Probably, pics are still there) PJ turned to be more aggressive sounding then TW. I still don't know if I'll keep them both, but I'm sure the PJ will stay with me anyway) I just want to string one of them BEAD and haven't decided yet wich of them will be "dark lord":)
