Nice!!!...Those older Schaller tuners are much thicker than the new ones they make...Bought a replacement d-tuner and noticed the difference. That was a waste of $90!!..

Cleaned up the NS-2 today and put some new Hi Beams on it. PJ confirmed it was made in the Brooklyn workshop and left on 06/15/85. What a great sounding instrument!

True!..but you must always have some sacrificial lambs for the bad clubs/tight stages..hehe... a couple ns2a's and euros, the sound will still be in par.
Depending on the camera you may be able to run an output from the soundboard into the camera or connect a separate mic and place it further away from the stage so it doesn't get over driven by the loud PA.
Feel free to PM me with with the camera model and I will see what I can find out. I worked for JVC so I have some knowledge in this area.

Yup, I owe Sam a lot. Before hanging with Sam, I never used to even change the strings on my own but now I am adjusting the truss rod and everything myself. I haven't swapped out a pre yet but that is mostly due to me being awful at soldering.

I stand corrected John. DC's do come on the NS-4's. That's what happens when I've been packing up the house for 3 days and tired out. Plus trying to catch up from page 9 a17 and watch my favorite tv shows. Lol

Ahhhh! There we have it. Sometimes we just think automatically that the bass is all setup to ready to roll. Thought that was strange for DC's to be low vol. and aggressiveness...a lot of people on here love the DC's and some are changing over to them. That's awesome! Glad you got it worked out!
