Sam did you design that diagram? :bassist:

I'd happily consider a NS2a......? I'm pretty sure someone has one for a fair price. I hear my local Sam ash has a black one with Spector pickups and a Korean haz for 500.....but people told me I don't want the Spector pickups? I'm going to look at it Friday if it's still there for this Alice in Chains tribute show I have coming in August!

did you check the link from gc i posted for you yesterday?

You can always swap the Spector Pickups for a set of used EMGs.

Spector Pimp eye out for a NS-2A for you. :bassist:
Expect some PMs if I come across anything good.

Then MB series is a little more rounded on the low end (so I've heard, I have not played any MB amps) Husky has a 500mb I think.

I concur. The 700 pushed sounds a lot like the 800RB, which, IMO is one one the greatest sounding amps ever made.

Steve - the 800 RB is not 800 watts, it is "only" 300 full range and 400 biamped. Let me tell you though....that will be some of the loudest 300W you've ever heard! I never run out of steam with the 800 and the more you push it the better it sounds. GnR "Appetite" album is the epitome of that GK grind.

Right now I have an MB200, MB800, 200RCB and 800RB. The MB800 (micro) does a phenonmenal job of nailing that classic GK tone. I think a lot of that has to do with the MOSFET. It is one loud mutha and can even come close to my M9 Carbine.....not easily done.

I don't know I'm adding more confusion but there are just so many good GK products out there right now. It really just depends on how much you want to "lug" around but even amp like the 700RB, 1001RB and 800RB aren't much work.

If I could only have one it'd be the ole dinosaur 800RB. Something about that thing...it just has "it" for me.
