I think for low A on a Spector 4-string you'd almost definitely want the 35" scale Euro. Dropping to A on my Euro 5 with a 130 Nickel Lo-Rider felt fairly tight but not as much as I'd like it to be. I think on a 34" scale 4-string it would be too loose unless you had a really heavy string.

Really comes down to how tight you want it. Plus, the 4-string bridge may need the gap widened to allow the thicker string in unless it's tapered. Nut would need work too.

I have a feeling I'd have just as difficult of a time finding 2 used 35" 4 stringers as I would finding another 5. Maybe I should just hold off and wait for another green euro 5 to pop up :hiding:

Hey everyone,

Just got off the phone with Todd and he gave me a few choices for the body blank of the NS-5H2 fretless that I ordered a few months ago.

Here are some of the choices. I know which one I chose, but wanted you guys to see the awesome blanks that they have to choose from!

At first glance 8004 is the obvious winner.....for the most extreme top......however for subtle I would say 8002 is really neat and has good symentry

Damn! Those all look amazing. The first one strikes me the most though. No matter which you pick you're getting an awesome looking instrument!

I'm looking thru a cracked screen on my handset, so maybe I'm seeing things, but he 8005 does seem to have some female anatomy symmetry going on. This could be real Spector porn. LOL

Both rebops posted on Classifieds FYI $700 for upgraded 2001 and $550 for 2003 Natural........figured these would be good prices given upgrades and previous recent TB sales

BTW........not getting out of Spectors, Just getting a four......

That's some seriously spalty goodness, right there! I like 8004 as well, though 8001 looks like it's a single piece top, which IMO is always a cool thing.:ninja:
