Funny thing is if JPS' splatter Webster hadn't come along I would have taken this one for sure.

I actually like the splatter more now that I have it in person, but I would have been just as happy with the non-splatter I think. I might have switched out the hardware for gold on that one. The black is better for the splatter though I think.

Man, I'd scoop that AW up in a heartbeat if I could sell my drums locally.

I have a question for you 4string players. Anyone downtuning as low as drop A? I'm currently playing a Euro 5LX and have been on the hunt for another nice 5er at the right price for me, but I haven't been able to find one. I've been considering trading my 5er for a nice 4 and just picking up another 4 on the side. This new band is out playing shows every month and I'd really feel more comfortable bringing 2 axe's with me, I just really wish I could find another 5er. How do the 4's handle heavy drop tuning? My 5er loves drop A through my Mesa Cabs.

Might anyone be interested in working a deal out? It's not set in stone but I'm really thinking about it. It's a blue Euro 5, can send pics if needed.

Seriously, what do you guys do tell all the guys on talkbass not to buy my Euro? Just kidding. It must be fate telling me to keep her.. I even lowered the price, but I'm certainly not going to give her away that's for sure. Guess I'm here to stay Doods.
Take Care,
Brent

How could you not love that face? :D

I think for low A on a Spector 4-string you'd almost definitely want the 35" scale Euro. Dropping to A on my Euro 5 with a 130 Nickel Lo-Rider felt fairly tight but not as much as I'd like it to be. I think on a 34" scale 4-string it would be too loose unless you had a really heavy string.

Really comes down to how tight you want it. Plus, the 4-string bridge may need the gap widened to allow the thicker string in unless it's tapered. Nut would need work too.

That black ns2a is on its way to bama .

So I have two things in my head .

Option 1 swap black hardware to gold , regular pearl inlay deals , and emgs .

Option 2 leave hardware alone , maybe change pups maybe not , get black pearl inlay decals , and dr black beauties and have it all black ...

Opinions ???

Pearl inlays look good on all black, I don't think you would see the black ones?

Am I wrong or does the Rebop have a slightly different body shape than the Euro? It almost seems like longer or narrower. Seemed to stand out more when I was looking at the pic of the MM Rebop.

Hey everyone,

Just got off the phone with Todd and he gave me a few choices for the body blank of the NS-5H2 fretless that I ordered a few months ago.

Here are some of the choices. I know which one I chose, but wanted you guys to see the awesome blanks that they have to choose from!

They usually don't come with a wiring diagram.

Yeah this is what I sent along with my basses for the BT-"US 9v" pre swap I have being done now between my JAR and my my red CRFM. PJ sent me something really basic and said he could send me something more detailed that someone had worked up...bet it's Sam's photo. I hope the swap is done before my gig Saturday!
