Got the bass back yesterday. I haven't played it in a band setting but I played it at home and I am very impressed. The last time I put the 9 volt (haz) in a Euro it was with the newer style Euro Lx's and I was not to impressed. It gave me maybe 30-40% close to the Ns2 sound. Good if it cost me $100 but for $350??, not worth it. But with this Euro with solid maple wings I can say it gives me 80-85% close to the sound. But my major reason for the swap wasn't trying to duplicate the sound but put all basses close in gain territory. The sound closeness was just an added bonus. Mission accomplished!! I would recommend waisting the $350 if you have a euro with solid maple wings but if you don't keep your cash.![]()
